What is UNIQLO

 

Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fast Retailing Group. Established in 1949 as a women’s clothing manufacturer, the company expanded into men’s clothing in 1976 and changed its name to UNIQLO in 1991. Since 2005, it has been a subsidiary of the Fast Retailing Group and has been listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange since 1994. Uniqlo sells casual clothing such as T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, slacks, and skirts. We have over 1,000 stores in Japan and over 1,500 stores overseas.
